The death of Cyrille Belliveau of Memramcook East occurred Wednesday (1 octobre) at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital following a short illness. He was 86.
Born at Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Auguste and Bibienne (LeBlanc) Belliveau. His wife, the former Sylvie LeBlanc, died a number of years ago.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Samuel Roach (Clairita) of Taunton, Mass., Mrs. Henri Léger (Bibienne) of Ludlow, Mass., Mrs. Alyre Cormier (Rosa) of Memramcook East and Mrs. Laurie Cormier (Lina) of Pré-d'en-Haut; four sons, Julien of Dorchester, Anselme of Renfrew, Ont., Joseph of Ludlow, and Francis Belliveau of Memramcook East; 48 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren.
The body is resting at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, with interment in the parish cemetery.
